Before he jumped into the race, Joe Biden’s Democrat presidential challengers brought up his history of his inappropriate (and creepy) touching of women of all ages. As quickly as it started, though, it died down. That’s unfortunate. Joe Biden is a creepy old white man.

As sad as Biden’s creepy touchy habits are, that isn’t his worst character defect. This article highlights Joe Biden’s worst character defect.

Never willing to let a good race-baiting opportunity go to was, “former Vice President Joe Biden rang the alarm that ‘Jim Crow is sneaking back’ at a campaign rally in South Carolina, the south’s first primary state that is seen as key to clinching the Democratic nomination.” This isn’t surprising, just disgusting and repetitive. Joe Biden has been doing this for years. Here’s another instance of Biden playing the race-baiting card:

Simply put, Biden is both a race-baiter and a pervert. It’s time that sensible Democrats rejected this type of campaigning. That’s if sensible Democrats still exist. Then there’s this:

On systemic racism, Biden gave the example that if two men named “Jamal” and “John” applied for the same job, “John” would easily get the gig.

I’m tired of hearing this crap. That sounds like something another old white Democrat (Mark Dayton) said.

Biden held a campaign rally Saturday in Columbia, the Palmetto State’s capital and home to the University of South Carolina. Bidden added to his usual fighting-for-the-middle-class stump speech by calling for protecting voting rights and ending “systemic racism.” Biden cited numerous states’ voting laws which he said are “mostly directed at people of color.”

Andrew Gillum and Stacey Abrams tried playing that race card, too. They almost won. Neither race should’ve been close. Apparently, Democrats can’t help themselves when it comes to race-baiting:

It’s sickening to see Democrats pandering to Al Sharpton, aka Tawana Brawley’s co-conspirator. While it’s sickening, it isn’t surprising.

John Kass’s latest article is part of today’s must reading. The main topic discussed in the article is the subject of offensive statues. Specifically, Kass wrote about toppling offensive statues and monuments.

In part, Kass wrote “As an African-American, Sharpton believes that using federal tax dollars to subsidize the Jefferson Memorial is wrong. And even though the flames of Cultural Revolution are burning hot, you can understand this. History is important, but history can also be quite offensive. But there’s one thing wrong with Sharpton. It’s not that he goes too far. It’s that he doesn’t go far enough. Because if he and others of the Cultural Revolution were being intellectually honest, they’d demand that along with racist statues, something else would be toppled. The Democratic Party.”

Kass then makes that case, saying “The Democratic Party historically is the party of slavery. The Democratic Party is the party of Jim Crow laws. The Democratic Party fought civil rights for a century.” Then he sticks the knife in, then gives it a sharp twist:

The Democratic Party’s military arm in the South was the KKK. The Democratic Party opposed the 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution, making the former slaves citizens of the United States and giving them the vote.

Kass then adds “You can’t say the Democratic Party wasn’t the slavery party. It’s historical fact.” The truth is that Robert Byrd, the long-time Senate Majority Leader and former leader of the KKK, and Albert Gore, Sr., the father of Vice President Gore, both filibustered the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. They weren’t alone.

Kass isn’t most upset with the toppling of statues. He’s most worried about this:

My guess is that most Americans are afraid of social punishment. So, the offensive statues will go, and then perhaps offensive iconography, offensive images, offensive books.
One book comes to mind. Let me quote a passage from it.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

This nation’s founding fathers didn’t envision the U.S. as a thin-skinned nation. They envisioned the U.S. as a nation of overcomers. The Party of the Perpetually Offended, aka the Democratic Party, aren’t overcomers. They’re a bunch of whiners who’d rather play the victim card than become part of the nation of overcomers.

This is what the Democratic Party has devolved into:

In the aftermath of this morning’s assassinations of 3 Baton Rouge police officers, half-hearted statements from the Commander-in-Chief aren’t enough. What’s required are strong actions that tell the world that assassinating cops won’t be tolerated.

Right after Philando Castile, Gov. Dayton opined that Castile might still be alive if he were white. It was an ill-advised statement that Gov. Dayton never should’ve made.

As long as it’s out there, though, it’s important that we flip this around. In light of the assassinations of the 5 DPD police officers last week and the assassinations of 3 police officers this morning in Baton Rouge and the I94 #BlackLivesMatter riots in St. Paul that left 21 officers injured, isn’t it time to ask whether #BlackLivesMatter should shoulder at least some of the blame for the assassinations of these police officers? Shouldn’t Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, especially Sharpton for his fiction of ‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ in Ferguson, be blamed for throwing white gas on a raging racial fire?

In light of those things, the thing we didn’t need was a half-hearted statement from President Obama:

I’ll admit that it’d be difficult for President Obama to take Sharpton to the political woodshed but it’s what’s required. That’s what a leader would’ve done. Here’s what I would’ve written if I were the President’s chief speechwriter:

This morning’s assassinations of 3 police officers breaks my heart, especially knowing that it was another black man that shot those police officers. While I won’t pretend that police officers always treat minorities the same way they treat whites, I won’t pretend that black leaders like Al Sharpton and #BlackLivesMatter haven’t stoked the fires of racial animosity, either. It’s time for the police officers across the nation to review their procedures. Likewise, it’s time that the black community realize that most officers think that their job is to protect and defend the people in their city.

It was wrong for Gavin Long and Micah Johnson to murder in cold blood 8 police officers whose only sin was protecting people. It’s wrong for Al Sharpton to stoke the flames of racial animosity with chants of “Hands up, don’t shoot”.

Frankly, it’s time that both sides worked together rather than fighting each other.

That’s a statement President Obama doesn’t want to give, which is why it’s a statement that won’t be released.
