Guy Benson’s article highlights what I’m now calling the ‘Democrats’ hate Americans agenda.’ 22,000,000 people have lost their jobs this past month. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell proposed appropriating $250,000,000,000 to the Paycheck Protection Program fund, which started with $350,000,000,000 a month ago and has already run out.

Sen. McConnell’s bill was a clean bill to speed assistance to the fund to keep employees on their employers’ payrolls. It was an emergency, aka stopgap, measure that was needed to keep businesses afloat. Unfortunately, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are playing hardball while people’s lives are literally hanging in the balance. She’s even bragging that Democrats blocked the McConnell bill that would’ve kept millions of employees employed.

That’s the definition of heartless. Meanwhile, the MSM is running interference for Democrats:

This isn’t a “game of chicken. This is people’s lives being put at risk by a POS devil woman from San Francisco who loves playing partisan games with other people’s lives. This is a Don’t Give A Damn NY Senator saying ‘I can’t be bothered.’

This isn’t a time for partisanship. Look at how much President Trump has worked with Gov. Cuomo, Mayor De Blasio, Gov. Murphy and Gov. Newsom. Pelosi and Schumer, by comparison, have been totally worthless. I don’t trust them whatsoever. What’s worse is that rank-and-file Democrats haven’t stepped forward for their small businesses. They haven’t told Pelosi and Schumer to knock their ill-advised tactics off. They’ve sat in the corner like silent sheep, unwilling to do what’s right. Politicians who aren’t willing to do what’s right, especially during a crisis, are worthless, especially to their small businesses and their employees.

What type of person thinks that it’s funny to show off their $22,000 freezer filled with $12 per half-pint ice cream right after she essentially put 5,000,000 blue collar workers on unemployment by playing obstructionist partisan games?

Republicans tried to pass more money for Americans’ paychecks last week. Democrats blocked it. Speaker Pelosi said she saw “no data as to why we need it.” She said “we have time to negotiate.”

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, these jobs and these livelihoods are solely your responsibility. Had you negotiated in good faith, Blue Collar America wouldn’t be hurting as much as it’s hurting.

Election Day can’t happen soon enough. Mike Huckabee said that “the best form of leadership is servant leadership.” That’s true. The leadership that Pelosi is practicing isn’t servant leadership. It’s haughty autocrat leadership.

When Chuck Schumer shut down the government for a weekend, he suffered a political backlash that likely cost him the Senate majority. It was one of the dumbest political stunts in political history. (Read more about it here.) As bad as Schumer’s Shutdown was for Senate Democrats, Pelosi’s Payroll Protection Program, aka PPP, will make Schumer’s Shutdown seem like a little turbulence.

When the SBA account ran dry Thursday afternoon, Pelosi took to TV to brag about shutting down those businesses. When she was asked on C-SPAN why she let the PPP run out of money, she stuttered:

Middle class families’ lives hang in the balance and she’s playing Marie Antoinette. How heartless is she? How spineless are Democrats like Debbie Dingell, Adam Schiff, Dean Phillips and Angie Craig? Thursday afternoon, Craig said that she’s working hard after hearing that the PPP ran out of money. Apparently, Craig didn’t think that criticizing Pelosi for letting the fund dry up was her responsibility. Then again, Phillips is MIA on this. How’s that fit into his resume of being a vital part of the Problem Solvers Caucus? Phillips has been MIA within the Problem Solvers Caucus, too.

Pelosi just ate the economic downturn by shafting small businesses and their employees. It isn’t likely that they’ll let Pelosi or Democrats off the hook for that decision. Further, voters shouldn’t let Democrats off the hook for not listening to Main Street.

Democrats love saying that their House majority is built by moderates. That’s insulting to thinking individuals. There aren’t any moderate Democrats left in the House. At least, there won’t be if Collin Peterson retires. Last week, I wrote this post to highlight the fact that the Democrats who are relatively moderate really aren’t moderates.

In that article, I quoted Newt Gingrich, who said “that he’s writing a book about House Democrats that he calls ‘the radical 200.'” Newt then continues, saying that “the entire Democratic Party is marching off a left-wing cliff. There’s a bill, for example, that would raise the FICA Tax, your Social Security tax, by 19% and they had 206 Democrats signed onto it.”

Of the 233 Democrats in the House, 230 voted to impeach President on both articles. That’s stunning considering the fact that the only testimony that the Democrats had was hearsay testimony. Impeaching a president based on hearsay testimony isn’t what a moderate would do. That’s what a hardcore partisan does.

Quite a few so-called moderates joined the Problem Solvers Caucus. It sounds great. Everyone wants to see Congress solve problems that make people’s lives better. The problem is that the people in this caucus haven’t solved anything. It’s difficult for the minority party to get things done in the partisan House, especially when it’s ruled with an iron first by someone as partisan as Speaker Pelosi. That brings me to my next point.

A so-called ‘moderate’ like Collin Peterson votes against President Trump 85% of the time. He voted against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which has helped ignite the Trump economy. He voted against eliminating the regulations that essentially killed the fossil fuel industry and hurt small town communities. Does that sound like the reasonable thing to do?

What problems have Democrats solved? Did Democrats fix health care? Did Democrats lower prescription drug prices? Did Democrats make us energy independent? What exactly did Democrats do the past 18 months? Anything worthwhile?

Many Democrats told voters that they’d never vote for Pelosi as speaker. Some Democrats kept their promise. Many Democrats didn’t keep their promise. Democrats haven’t had an original thought since the Clinton administration. What they have is an ideological checklist that they’re determined to pass. It doesn’t matter that it doesn’t make people’s lives better. What matters to Democrats is that it’s on the checklist. Remember this?

With impeachment now temporarily out of sight and with the year coming to an end soon, it’s time to look forward at next year’s campaigns. The House Democrats’ impeachment farce has made them the laughingstock of swing district independent voters nationwide. When Speaker Pelosi enticed her freshmen to walk the plank vote to impeach President Trump, she enticed them to sign their political death warrant. This isn’t just about the 30 Democrats serving in Trump-won districts. It’s about Democrats serving in districts that Trump narrowly lost, too.

Somehow, Speaker Pelosi has morphed into a tragic figure, something Republicans didn’t think was possible. Still, that’s what happened when she trusted Adam Schiff’s and AOC’s political instincts more than her own political instincts. One side of her majority couldn’t wait to impeach President Trump. The other side of her majority wanted to legislate.

The bad news for Speaker Pelosi is that the 2 sides compromised and spent their time investigating, then impeaching President Trump. The worse news is that Chairmen Schiff and Nadler impeached President Trump without citing the high crime President Trump had committed. The public hearings in the House Intelligence Committee and the Judiciary Committee were a total disaster for Democrats.

Meanwhile, Democrats in the House Problem Solvers Caucus didn’t produce solutions to any of the pressing issues that need to be addressed. A Problem Solvers Caucus that doesn’t solve problems is essentially worthless. House Republicans will tell voters next fall that the way to get things done is through unified Republican government, with President Trump orchestrating the agenda from the Oval Office.

Republicans have President Trump to support. Further, Republicans have a positive, pro-growth agenda to support. The Democrats have don’t have a figure to rally around or a positive, pro-growth agenda to support. They have to defend Speaker Pelosi’s decision to withhold articles of impeachment from the Senate in an attempt to negotiate with Mitch McConnell.

Apolitical citizens can’t identify with Pelosi-style trickery. They think, rightly, that people who’ve been indicted (impeached) should get their day in court. In fact, the wise men that wrote the Constitution codified that principle into the Constitution. It’s part of the Constitution because they ratified the Sixth Amendment, which states this:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

This isn’t a request. It’s a requirement. Since Speaker Pelosi declared the impeachment inquiry into existence, she’s been talking about the solemnity of this process, the requirement that the Constitution be protected and the need to protect our democracy:

While the Democrats are split on whether they should have travelled down the impeachment path, they’re united in that they won’t avoid the voters’ wrath for ignoring We The People‘s agenda. Democrats will feel the people’s wrath for pursuing the Resistance’s agenda of unlimited investigations and repetitive impeachments:

That Democrats would promote this type of division is the source for the Democrats’ 2020 demise.

The next time Speaker Pelosi talks about the solemnity of impeaching President Trump, throw this story into her face:

Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La., may have been distracted on Thursday during the marathon impeachment hearing focused on President Trump. Richmond appeared to have been watching a golf tournament on his laptop during a procedural roll call, which aired in full-view on CNN.

“What on earth is Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond watching on his laptop during this impeachment markup?” GOP rapid response director Steve Guest asked. “To me, it looks like Rep. Richmond is watching the President’s Cup golf tournament. Richmond’s actions are a DISGRACE.”

Rep. Richmond couldn’t have gotten the memo telling him that this week was ‘Solemnity/Impeachment Week’ in the House. If a picture is worth a thousand words, is this video worth 5,000 words?

On a different aspect of impeachment, Democrats will move it another step closer to the finish line when it votes impeachment out of the Judiciary Committee. After that, freshmen Democrats will be forced to make the most important decision of their political lives. These freshman Democrats will have to decide whether to vote with Chairman Schiff or vote with their constituents. They can’t do both. A vote for impeachment is a vote for early retirement. It’s that simple for the 31.

Most likely, these freshmen Democrats’ votes won’t matter that much. These freshmen Democrats promised their constituents to be different. They told their constituents they’d be different. Then these Democrats voted with Speaker Pelosi’s and AOC’s agendas. This is typical:

Rose is among the 31 House Democrats from districts where Trump won in 2016. Those swing districts were critical to Democrats’ winning control of the House last year, and now those members are needed by the party leadership if Trump is to become the third president ever impeached.

Rose announced he was against impeachment in the wake of the Russia report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, but then supported the inquiry over Trump’s request for Ukraine to investigate Democrats. Whether he and other swing-district Democrats would extend that support to impeachment itself remains unclear, and may continue to be right up until the floor vote.

Good luck with the ticket-splitting, Max. Rose spent his first year doing nothing.

Last week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered this speech on the Senate floor. In his speech, as he’s done frequently, Sen. McConnell highlighted Speaker Pelosi’s obsession with impeachment:

For weeks now, Republicans have been asking Democrats to take off their impeachment blinders and let Congress legislate for the American people. We’ve argued that American families deserve better than this partisan paralysis where Democrats obsess over impeachment and obstruct everything else.

This very morning, Speaker Pelosi gave a speech on national television to push forward her rushed and partisan impeachment process. Not one word on the outstanding legislation the American people actually need. Nothing on the USMCA, or the NDAA, or funding for our armed forces. It’s all impeachment, all the time.

Only in this town, only in Washington D.C., does anybody think it’s okay for our armed forces to go unfunded… and a major trade deal to go unpassed… because Democrats are too busy hosting a panel of law professors to criticize President Trump on television.

Why haven’t Democrats from the Problem Solvers Caucus publicly push passage of USMCA? These Democrats want to be known as solving problems. Thus far, it’s more accurate to call them Do-Nothing Democrats than Problem Solvers. They’re a bunch of wimps who haven’t gotten a thing done. If these so-called moderates won’t stand up to Queen Nancy, then they’re essentially worthless. We The People need doers, not talkers.

The good news is that the policies implemented by President Trump and Republicans are paying dividends to the people President Trump promised to never forget. It can’t be happy times for Mike Bloomberg. This article from Bloomberg BusinessWeek contains good news for the American people:

The economy appears to be in a much better place than experts feared: good news for an incumbent president heading into an election year. In its analysis of the November jobs report, Bloomberg Economics lowered its projection of 2020 year-end unemployment to an astounding 3.3 percent and forecast “U.S. Election Day Unemployment to Be Lowest Since ’52.”

Back when we last had unified GOP government, important things actually got done. Republicans didn’t fix the mess that Democrats created with health care but they got rid of tons of counterproductive anti-energy industry regulations.

The Trump administration’s deregulation policies have made the US energy dominant. We’re now exporting more oil than we’re importing. Further on the regulations front, President Trump issued this executive order, which says in part:

Section 1. Purpose. It is the policy of the executive branch to be prudent and financially responsible in the expenditure of funds, from both public and private sources. In addition to the management of the direct expenditure of taxpayer dollars through the budgeting process, it is essential to manage the costs associated with the governmental imposition of private expenditures required to comply with Federal regulations. Toward that end, it is important that for every one new regulation issued, at least two prior regulations be identified for elimination, and that the cost of planned regulations be prudently managed and controlled through a budgeting process.

The latest report reported that 7.5 old regulations were eliminated for each new regulation created. That’s the biggest reason why the economy is strong and getting better. It’s time to get rid of this Do-Nothing Democrats majority in the House so we can return to doing the people’s business.

Something that’s gotten lost in the impeachment fight is how Speaker Pelosi was intimidated into impeachment by AOC + 3 versus how she’s essentially ignored ratifying the USMCA treaty that the Problem Solvers Caucus. Speaker Pelosi knows that she can intimidate the so-called moderates. That’s what she’s done the last 15 years. When they were debating Cap & Trade, she needed Collin Peterson to vote for it. At the time, I wrote that Collin was a Blue Dog Democrat … until Nancy needed his vote.

Pelosi can’t intimidate AOC + 3. In fact, they’ve intimidated Pelosi into supporting impeachment. Pelosi’s majority isn’t possible without moderates. Still, there’s no enthusiasm without AOC + 3. It’s a Catch 22 situation.

What isn’t a difficult thing to figure out is what will happen to Democrats running for re-election. Appearing on Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo, Kevin McCarthy said “Well, Nancy Pelosi, if you’re one of those 31 Democrats running for re-election — well, you’re a little afraid with hearing what Nancy Pelosi just did putting out this timeline for articles of impeachment. She just gave up your job. If you look at some new polling from American Action Network in these Democrat districts, 54% of their district is more likely to vote against you if you vote for impeachment — and they already have.”

That’s the news from the 31 districts that we’ve heard about since seemingly forever ago. If 54% of voters are voting against you if you vote for impeachment, that isn’t good news for those Democrats who Nancy Pelosi is forcing into voting for impeachment. Couple that information with the increasingly prevalent opinion that Democrats should be called the Do-Nothing Democrats and you’ve got the starting foundation for a wave election that will sweep Ms. Pelosi out of office.

This won’t end well for Democrats because people across the nation have turned on them. Democrats have peddled one impeachment story after another for the past 3 years. First, they peddled the Russia collusion story. When that went bust, they shifted to obstruction of justice. When that wasn’t taken seriously, they pounced on the whistleblower’s report. When that wasn’t taken seriously, Democrats impaneled some focus groups to come up with words that provided greater impact. That’s when they settled for bribery.

Of course, the story hasn’t changed. The transcript is still the transcript. The witnesses against President Trump are limited. It isn’t surprising that people have tuned out. The boy cried wolf a dozen times too often. The boy’s credibility doesn’t exist anymore. (In this story, the boy is played by Adam Schiff. Go figure, right?)

Since regaining control of the House, Democrats have ignored the people’s highest priorities while investigating and, within a month, impeaching President Trump. Farmers and unions badly want USMCA ratified. Pelosi’s Democrats keep insisting that they’re “working their way to yes”, a quaint way of telling farmers and manufacturers to shut up while Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff and a handful of radicals impeach the president.

On Nov. 3, 2020, the People will render a verdict on what’s important to them. That’s when voters across the nation will return the gavels to people who listen, aka Republicans. The Democrats don’t want to represent the people. They’d prefer telling the people what they should do.

Think of the ACA’s Individual Mandate, which says ‘buy our worthless and/or too expensive product or pay a fine. Rather than producing an appealing product that people actually want, Democrats told the people what they had to buy or else. When Pelosi’s crew of Democrats shoved that legislation down our throats, the next election produced a landslide that resulted in a 63-seat gain in the House for the Republicans. Consider that the people’s verdict on the ACA, aka Obamacare.

Have Democrats fixed our badly broken asylum laws? Have they funded the wall? Will Democrats close the loopholes in our immigration and deportation laws? Will Democrats do anything to fix the opioid epidemic? Will Rep. Schiff and Ms. Pelosi ignore the homeless crisis in their districts while chasing impeachment of a president without proof of high crimes or misdemeanors?

Q: How many problems have the Problem Solvers’ Caucus solved? A: Fewer than 1. This was just a gimmick to sound moderate. The Democrats in this Caucus are really just Do-Nothing Democrats.

Tomorrow, Jerry Nadler will get a second shot at significance. It isn’t likely that he’ll rise to the occasion but he’ll do a great job of cratering TV ratings. The Impeachment Committee hearings were mostly a snooze fest. The ratings started poorly (13,800,000 viewers), then went downhill after that, finishing with 11,400,000 viewers the final day.

The Democrats have been in the majority in the House of Representatives for almost a year. They’ve passed a bunch of busy-work bills that are highly partisan but they haven’t worked in a bipartisan fashion on the people’s priorities. They’ve had a one-track mind thus far, which is why impeachment is the only thing that Democrats have serious attention to.

This article is great news for President Trump. The information should boost Trump campaign staff’s morale a bunch.

According to the article, “Donald Trump is competitive in head-to-head match ups with top Democrats in six key battleground states, according to a new set of New York Times/Siena College polls. Across Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona and North Carolina, the six states that Trump won most narrowly in 2016, the president trails Joe Biden by an average of two percentage points among registered voters, within the margin of error.”

It’s been my experience that polls of likely voters usually are better than polls of registered voters. This polling isn’t the entire picture, either. Today on Outnumbered OT, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said that they’re registering new voters in 18 battleground states. McDaniel also said that they’re using tomorrow’s gubernatorial elections as a trial run for 2020. It helps when the RNC is raking in record amounts of contributions, not to mention the amount of small dollar contributions that are flowing in, thanks to pro-Trump enthusiasm.

The crowds at President Trump rallies are impressive. The online contributions are another indicator of voter approval for President Trump’s agenda. If these contributors to President Trump’s campaigns weren’t enthusiastic, you wouldn’t see these overflow crowds and record-setting small-dollar fundraising. Compare the Trump fundraising with Biden’s fundraising.

Biden’s fundraising is lackluster and it’s mostly big dollar donors who max out quickly. It isn’t surprising that Democrats are worried about their candidates.

That’s only part of the reason why President Trump is feeling optimistic. If the Democrats’ nominee is Elizabeth Warren, they’re in lots of trouble. Sen. Warren’s proposed Medicare-for-All plan is a major unforced error. First, there’s no way to pay for it. Next, it’s a plan that nobody wants outside of Ms. Warren and Sen. Sanders. If either senator are the nominee, Democrats will get crushed in all 3 races, aka the presidential, the House and the Senate.

House Democrat freshmen are already in deep trouble. Think of all of the freshmen that ran, saying that they wouldn’t vote for Pelosi as Speaker. Then think of all of the freshmen that then voted for Pelosi as Speaker. Next, think of all of the freshmen that campaigned as moderates. Freshmen like Conor Lamb vehemently insisted that they were moderates. Then Pelosi twisted their arms until they voted to open the impeachment inquiry. Don’t think that won’t hurt.

Add that to a presidential race that’s a potential drag on the Democrats’ down-ticket races and this could be a difficult year for Democrats and Chairman Perez. Here in Minnesota, Democrat freshmen Angie Craig and Dean Phillips just made their re-election campaigns much more difficult. This guy will be difficult to beat:

Minnesotans deserve courageous leaders who are focused, disciplined, and honest who will take a stand when times are hard. You deserve leaders who won’t say one thing then throw those promises out the window when they get to Washington. We face tough problems today, problems I can address in a meaningful way because of my personal and professional experiences.

I’m a leader with both military and corporate experience that is outside the world of politics. I know how to create a vision and move people toward a goal that is larger than each individual and that transcends racial, economic and gender differences.

It’s apparent that Mr. Qualls is a leader. Mr. Phillips hasn’t done a thing since getting elected, then joining the Problem Solvers Caucus.

Pitting a talker against the leader in that video isn’t a fair fight.

Everyone knows that President Trump and Vice President Pence, aka Team Fun, are coming to Minnesota this Thursday. Good for them. They’re going all in to flip Minnesota. DFL Gov. Tim Walz sounds worried that President Trump will flip Minnesota. While Ed still thinks it’s a longshot, I still think it’s possible. I think it’s possible because, frankly, the Democrat presidential candidates are pretty mediocre. If there was a positive-sounding moderate voice that didn’t listen to the AOC + 3 crowd, I think Minnesota would be offlimits. Democrats don’t have a candidate that fits that description.

That being said, they’re sending out tons of fundraising emails:

I’m sure you’re aware that President Trump is holding a campaign rally in Minnesota this Thursday, but I wanted to make sure you saw the breaking news that they’re tripling down.

Karen Pence and Lara Trump will now be coming to hold a campaign event on Wednesday, and Vice President Pence will be coming to hold a separate rally on Thursday. For both Trump and Pence, this will be the second time they’ve visited Minnesota this year. They’re going all-in on flipping Minnesota red, and they think they can do it with a message of fear and division.

But we know better. Minnesotans resoundingly rejected their scare tactics up and down the ballot in 2018, and as long as we can hold our own against the avalanche of far-right-wing money headed our way, we will again in 2020. So, with all eyes on Minnesota this week, we need to send a clear message. We’re setting a goal of 500 individual donors by Thursday night and we’re counting on you to hit it.

Most of Gov. Walz’s fundraising email is right but he got one thing wrong. Unfortunately, the thing that Walz got wrong is the biggest thing he got wrong. Lara Trump and Karen Pence don’t think that they’ll flip Minnesota from blue-to-red “with a message of fear and division.” If Minnesota flips, it’ll be because the economy is helping all population groups. The economy is helping minorities like never before. President Trump signed prison reform, which is already helping minority communities. The energy industry is incredible, with the US as the world’s energy superpower.

This looks like fun.

The Democrats, on the other hand, are the dividers. Democrats are the people pushing a divisive faux impeachment drive. Democrats retook the US House by promising the people that they’d fix health care. The Democrats haven’t fixed the problems they promised they’d fix. 33 Democrats joined the Problem Solvers Caucus. Thus far, those Democrats haven’t fixed anything.

When we had unified Republican government, they focused on making life better for the people. Republicans passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which helped the economy take off like it never did during the Obama administration. They used the Congressional Review Act to repeal the Obama administration’s anti-energy regulations.

To be fair, there’s more to accomplish, like fixing immigration and asylum walls and building the wall between the US and Mexico.
