In the 1970s, Democrats vigorously debated ideas. They were then the dominant political party, far outnumbering the Republican Party. Things started changing when Ronald Reagan, William F. Buckley and Barry Goldwater started debating conservative philosophies.

Things rapidly degraded for the Democratic Party when they became the party of fascist attacks (see Antifa), shouting down speakers with whom they disagree and stifling students’ First Amendment rights on campus. This isn’t a post about that, though.

This is about Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s disgusting, unverified attack on Judge Kavanaugh right before Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sen. Feinstein is ultra-politicizing the confirmation process of a Supreme Court Justice nominee with innuendo.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Thursday threw a cryptic curveball at Brett Kavanaugh, insinuating the Supreme Court nominee could be guilty of a crime even as Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee seek to delay his confirmation.

First, it’s been confirmed that Sen. Feinstein has had this information since July. Next, it’s been verified that the FBI has refused to open an investigation into this because it’s mostly innuendo. Third, it’s more than a bit odd that this information wasn’t discovered during previous background checks into Judge Kavanaugh when he applied for security clearances in the past.

When people submit themselves to background checks for security clearances, they get scrutinized 9 ways to Sunday. It’s inconceivable that the FBI would’ve missed something egregious like sexual harassment.

This is the worst cross between the Clarence Thomas character assassination hearings and the innuendo-filled Steele Dossier. Both were the biproducts of the Democrats’ ends-justifies-the-means, aka win-at-all-costs, tactics.

Sadly, the Democratic Party of old isn’t the Democratic Party of today.

This is no different than Harry Reid saying that some guy told him Romney hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years. Again, tell a lie long enough and get the media to cover it 24/7 like it’s real news, it becomes the truth. Hopefully informed people see past the democrats tactics.

You’re right. It isn’t. The point I’m trying to make is that conservatives should highlight it each time that a Dem/Socialist pulls a stunt like this, then tells people that entrusting power to people like this is what created Trump.

  • Chad Q says:

Exactly! People in the democrat/socialist/progressive party/media still can’t figure out why people are loyal to Trump and yet they continue with the same old tactics that got him elected. Trump is far from perfect but the people have and still are seeing past the dem tactics and are tired of them.
