One of Biden’s staffers must’ve written this statement that condemns violence. I’m betting that Joe didn’t write it. I’m betting that because he isn’t awake that often.

The staffer’s statement starts by saying “The deadly violence we saw overnight in Portland is unacceptable. Shooting in the streets of a great American city is unacceptable. I condemn this violence unequivocally. I condemn violence of every kind by any one, whether on the left or the right. And I challenge Donald Trump to do the same. It does not matter if you find the political views of your opponents abhorrent, any loss of life is a tragedy. Today there is another family grieving in America, and Jill and I offer our deepest condolences.”

This staffer should save the challenge to President Trump. He’s opposed the rioting since the week of the George Floyd riots. To offer historical perspective, those riots started in late May, 2020. Biden’s staffer’s statement was published on August 30, 2020. The next paragraph is pure BS:

We must not become a country at war with ourselves. A country that accepts the killing of fellow Americans who do not agree with you. A country that vows vengeance toward one another. But that is the America that President Trump wants us to be, the America he believes we are.

Whoever this snot-nosed punk is, he/she should be fired immediately for this malicious slander. It isn’t tethered to the truth. It’s BS from start-to-finish. Elected Democrats and BLM/Antifa mobsters are at war with America, not Republicans. Victor Davis Hanson nailed it with this outstanding analysis:

As a country, we must condemn the incitement of hate and resentment that led to this deadly clash. It is not a peaceful protest when you go out spoiling for a fight. What does President Trump think will happen when he continues to insist on fanning the flames of hate and division in our society and using the politics of fear to whip up his supporters? He is recklessly encouraging violence. He may believe tweeting about law and order makes him strong – but his failure to call on his supporters to stop seeking conflict shows just how weak he is. He may think that war in our streets is good for his reelection chances, but that is not presidential leadership–or even basic human compassion.

Joe Biden was silent as a mouse on street violence until he started sinking in the polls. The people in the streets aren’t Republican entrepreneurs. They’re Bernie Sanders/AOC-approved Antifa/BLM activists. These organizations are well-funded by anarchist leftists like George Soros. This doesn’t have anything to do with Republicans.

Donald Trump has been president for almost four years. The temperature in the country is higher, tensions run stronger, divisions run deeper. And all of us are less safe because Donald Trump can’t do the job of the American president.

That’s selective amnesia and then some. The people marching in the streets in 2020 marched in the streets 4 years ago:

After the police chased BLM protesters off the highway, BLM protesters threw concrete blocks from a walking bridge above the highway. Rashad Turner can’t credibly say that BLM’s words were misinterpreted.

Last week, Joe Biden started a new Democrat talking point when he said that the violence happening in Portland, Seattle, Chicago and Kenosha was happening in Donald Trump’s America. It’s an absurd statement on multiple levels but let’s look at it starting with the most obvious part.

For months, literally, President Trump has offered to help end the rioting and bloodshed in Portland and Chicago. In both instances, the mayors rejected President Trump’s offers of help. Here’s how Lightfoot reacted to President Trump’s offer of help:

“This morning the Tribune editorial board urged me to be more collaborative with President Trump. And surely those well meaning people cannot be that naive. President Trump’s attention to Chicago is transparently political,” Lightfoot said Monday afternoon during a press conference announcing investment in Auburn Gresham and North Lawndale.

It’s absurd to blame President Trump for Chicago’s violence, partly because Lightfoot emphatically turned him down repeatedly. Democrats now insist that President Trump wants violence to increase:

Joe Biden isn’t trustworthy. It isn’t just that he isn’t honest. It’s that he’s ignoring facts:

President Trump isn’t playing politics. He’s trying to fix a mess. For Biden to say that Trump is acting like career politicians (like himself) is insulting. Over the past 4 years, people have seen President Trump put the people first rather than putting Washington, DC first. I don’t expect the Swamp Media to trust him but I expect real people living out in America’s heartland to trust him.

President Trump’s America is chaotic because he’s getting important things done. Life in Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago or Ted Wheeler’s Portland is hell on earth because neither has shown a bit of leadership.

Finally, it’s rich for Biden to say that President Trump is cheering for increased violence when Democrat mayors in Washington, DC and NYC took time to paint Black Lives Matter murals on the streets of their cities. Who’s the people cheering for increased violence now? The evidence is clear:

Demorats sided with BLM, the people that rioted in Minneapolis and Atlanta. They can’t now say that they’ve opposed violence from the start. President Trump has opposed violence since the first day of the George Floyd Riots. It doesn’t get more consistent than that.

BLM: Black Lies Movement
By Ramblin’ Rose

Yes, LIES.

Words carry meaning. Assuredly, black lives matter, but so do the lives of all other races—from conception to natural death. But the BLM movement has little, if anything, to do with race. It is a leftist push to divide the country and to forge ahead with the destruction of Christian doctrines and values. Sadly, many professing-Christians have joined their ranks.

The Bible declares in Genesis that God is the Creator of all life! The Bible declares in Genesis that God created males and females and defined His expectations for “marriage” and provided His definition of “family.” The Word of God repeatedly states that any other sexual orientations are an abomination. Those are the pillars that the founders of the movement want to attack and upon which they build their lies.

In 2013, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi co-founded the BLM movement. Two of the three self-identify as “queer” (outside the heterosexual norms of Christianity). Cullors and Garza proudly champion their identity as “trained Marxists.” Those parameters have nothing to do with race.

Many from all ethnicities champion the presence of a “father” in the nuclear family to provide stability and guidance for the next generation. Data from the Census Bureau in December, 2016, point to the demise of the nuclear family. In 1960, 88% of youth 18 years of age and younger lived with both parents. In 2016, that number had declined to 69%. For blacks, it was only 38.7%. The nuclear family is disappearing. Might that be influenced by lies from atheists and leftists?

Compare the tenets from the LGBTQ agenda—

“We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure… foster a queer?affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking.”

and those from BLM—

“We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”

While a few words differ, the goal is the same. These splinter groups, now trying to become the dominant forces in Society, need to destroy the family unit designed by God in order to impose their views as the “norm.”

Christians should promote social justice, but this organization (and similar groups of devastation, destruction and hatred of God and this country) do not promote the betterment of persons based upon race, rather on the advancement of their devilish agenda.

Marx clearly stated his plan. In 1849, Marx wrote, “When our turn comes, we shall make no excuses for the terror. There is only one way in which the murderous death agonies of the old society and the bloody birth throes of the new society can be shortened, simplified and concentrated, and that way is revolutionary terror.”

The fallout will destroy modern life, but the consequences are eternal.

If Christians make the choice to embrace these groups, they make a choice with a damnable destiny.

This WFB editorial perfectly highlights the Democrats’ situational belief that black lives matter. Democrats didn’t hesitate in partnering with Black Lives Matter, the organization. Democrats have been thoroughly reluctant to make the statement that ‘all black lives matter’.

The WFB editorial starts with “LeGend Taliferro was asleep in his Kansas City, Mo., home in late June when a gunman opened fire from the street outside his window, shooting him dead. He was four years old, one of the many black boys and girls killed in the past three months. Victims were front and center at the Democratic National Convention: of police brutality, of climate change, and of every other -ism. And while virtually every speaker said that “black lives matter,” not a single moment at the Democratic convention was dedicated to the dozens murdered this summer in America’s Democrat-led cities.”

Why can’t Democrats say that all black lives matter? Is it because they’re only aligning themselves with the BLM political organization? If that’s their sole consideration, then that’s a sad verdict on their party. I don’t believe that most Democrats think that. However, I think that the vast majority of Democrat politicians think that way.

Remember when we saw the horrific video of Derek Chauvin’s knee on George Floyd’s neck? People of all political parties united to express our repulsion with Officer Chauvin’s actions and rightfully so. Within 2 weeks, though, that unity was shattered by Senate Democrats when they voted against Tim Scott’s bill.

They didn’t vote against final passage. They voted against even starting the debate on Sen. Scott’s bill. Think of that. Democrat politicians won’t say that all black lives matter. Democrat politicians won’t even start debate on a police reform bill. How do those actions improve the lives of minorities? Muriel Bowser spoke about racial injustice but it was selective.

She spoke at the Democrats’ convention about George Floyd but she didn’t say a thing about Secoriea Turner of Atlanta. At the Democrats’ convention, Mayor Bowswer didn’t speak about Horace Lorenzo Anderson, Jr. of Seattle. Don’t their lives matter too? Horace Lorenzo Anderson, Sr. got a call from President Trump. He hasn’t gotten a call from Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan.

When Democratic governors call federal law enforcement an “occupying force,” and when Biden’s criminal justice platform says more about investigating police forces than keeping crime down, voters should be afraid. They should be afraid for themselves and their families. But they should also be afraid for the young black men in Chicago and Baltimore and Kansas City for whom the chance of being murdered is 30 to 40 times higher than the national average.

The Democrats’ concern for African-Americans would be convincing if it wasn’t situational. Mostly, it’s purely for partisan purposes. Rather than seeing people, Democrats see a voting bloc.

Democrats should try being Americans first, politicians after that.

Each day, it becomes more clear that this election isn’t about Democrats vs. Republicans. Rather, it’s about sane people vs. the lunatic left. Friday afternoon, the NYPD and the NY Police Benevolent Association, aka NY PBA, endorsed President Trump.

Joe Biden’s message on policing has been inconsistent. One day, he’s said that he’s fine with redirecting money away from police budgets. At other times, he’s said he’s for strengthening police forces. Those 2 positions are opposites. You can’t strengthen police forces if you’re cutting funding. More importantly, it’s important to consistently have the officers’ backs. The exception to having the officers’ backs is in a George Floyd-like situation. There isn’t a need to defend the indefensible.

This isn’t the first endorsement President Trump has gotten from a police organization. In this post, I wrote about the endorsement President Trump received from the National Association of Police Organizations, aka NAPO. This is part of that post:

According to NAPO’s website, “The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) is a coalition of police unions and associations from across the United States and was organized for the purpose of advancing the interests of America’s law enforcement officers through legislative advocacy, political action and education.”

The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) endorsed President Trump’s reelection Wednesday, praising his “steadfast and very public support” for law enforcement. NAPO did not endorse a candidate in the 2016 election but endorsed former President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden in both the 2008 and 2012 elections.

What’s telling is that Joe Biden didn’t even try to get their endorsement. Biden would love to tout the support of another labor union so that isn’t why he didn’t try for this endorsement. He didn’t want to run afoul of the Antifa/BLM wing of the Democrat Party.

Democrats have stated that they aren’t anti-police. Democrats have also insisted that the violence isn’t widespread. Both statements are lies. The AOC/Jeremiah Ellison wing of the Democrat Party is just as anti-police as the Antifa-BLM wing of the Democrat Party. That’s before considering the fact that the Seattle PD cut the funding for the SPD, then tried cutting Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best’s salary.

Democrats think that police officers pose a bigger threat to society than Antifa-BLM. That’s how nuts they’ve become. The national leaders can make whatever conciliatory-sounding pro-police statements they want. They’re utterly irrelevant. Police departments are run locally. At that level, they’re run by Antifa activists:

Keith Ellison, Jeremiah’s father, tried spinning Jeremiah’s tweet:

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) said Monday that his son’s tweet in support of Antifa was more a comment about the “absurdity” of President Trump’s remarks blaming proponents of the anti-fascist ideology for violence at recent demonstrations across the country over the police killing of George Floyd. “I think that was a comment about the absurdity of the president’s comment more than anything else,” Ellison said Monday on CNN.

That is some of the most absurd spin I’ve ever heard. That being said, it’s what I’d expect from Keith Ellison.

In a 10-5 vote, the Minneapolis Charter Commission voted down the Minneapolis City Council’s proposed amendment to the Minneapolis Charter. The Charter acts as the City’s constitution. This is a major setback to the Far-Left DFL activists on the Minneapolis City Council.

Charter Commissioner Andrew Kozak is quoted as saying “We have an obligation to make sure that what is going on the ballot gives the voters an informed choice, that they can make a decision in a thoughtful way.” TRANSLATION: Don’t send us a half-baked idea, then expect us to iron out the details on something this important.

The City Council’s ‘plan’ wasn’t put together with any thoughtfulness. It was a reaction to a horrific incident that wasn’t thought through. The Commission took its responsibilities seriously. The City Council didn’t take their responsibilities seriously. If they’re going to transform the Minneapolis Police Department, it’s the Council’s responsibility to put together a detailed plan filled with specific goals and timetables.

Sophia Benrud, an organizer with the Black Visions Collective, issued this statement:

People in Minneapolis have been in the streets for months demanding change, only to hear from the Charter Commission that there haven’t been enough studies and consultants. When white supremacy is the law of the land, it is a luxury to say we need ‘more time’ before we can make change. Every single voter should have had the chance to vote on this amendment in 2020.

That’s sour grapes and unworthy of further comment. This tells the story:

As part of a last-ditch effort to send the proposal over the hurdle, a group of City Council members sent the commissioners a letter Wednesday assuring them that they “expect the transformed system to include law enforcement as part of a multifaceted approach to public safety.”

“The Minneapolis City Council is not asking you to put police abolition on the ballot, nor does the amendment propose this,” they wrote. “We are asking you to let Minneapolis vote on a new framework for public safety that aligns with the State of Minnesota’s Department of Public Safety.”

In impassioned public hearings and a deluge of written comments in recent weeks, some urged the charter commissioners to wield their powers of review to prevent what they believe is a dangerously vague proposal from heading to voters.

Lisa Bender chimed in with this:

“We’ve had an unprecedented outpouring of demand for change, demand for justice, unprecedented involvement from folks who are getting engaged in city government for the first time and I don’t want people to feel too discouraged. I’m disappointed and I share the disappointment that I’m sure people are feeling, but we have more ways to move forward as we continue to build this work.”

Jeremiah Ellison added this:

We’re going to keep pursuing that transformative change. I think that at some point, changing the charter is going to have to be a part of that.

The need for change is indisputable. Dismantling the MPD isn’t the right change. Professionalizing the MPD is required, though. That won’t happen without additional support from the Council and additional training. The MPD has had a reputation for not being a professional police force for years. What’s required isn’t a charter change. What’s required is a commitment change from the politicians.

When Jason Lewis represented Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District, one of the DFL’s lynch mobs, TakeAction Minnesota, aka TAM, visited Lewis’s private home, which I wrote about here. This is what I wrote at the time:

These aren’t frustrated people trying to contact a politician about an important issue. They’re people who didn’t think twice about intimidating young women in their own homes. That isn’t acceptable. That’s what playground bullies do.

TAM went onto Jason Lewis’s private property without hesitation. As I wrote years earlier, Democrats are big into visiting people’s private homes, then threatening and intimidating their targets’ children with their tactics.

Fast forward to today. The Democrats’ tactics haven’t changed. The politicians change depending on who needs to be intimidated. This time, the intimidators of choice are Black Lives Matter and the politician receiving intimidation is State Sen. Warren Limmer. BLM criminals (they were videotaped trespassing on Sen. Limmer’s private property) did their best to intimidate Sen. Limmer:

From Sen. Limmer’s perspective:

“We were watching it on my Ring doorbell and … you get a different feeling when you see people slithering up to my front door, opening it and then pounding and yelling, demanding that I come out to greet the mob,” Limmer said. “And it really isn’t anything – that type of thing, no one in America should experience.”

From BLM’s perspective:

“You will come and talk to us, otherwise you will never run in (sic) office again,” one man, who was shirtless and wearing what appeared to be a swim cap, yelled as he banged on Limmer’s door. “You can’t say that any more politely,” he added as he walked away from the door.

A woman followed him with a more tactful approach: “We just want a little information here, that’s all … You could come out and talk with us, you know. That’s one of the easiest ways to deal with people that are protesting you, is to come talk with us.”

Establishment Democrats insist that they’re mostly moderates. I’ve called that a lie since 2010. BLM isn’t moderate. Antifa is further left than BLM. Justice Democrats are further left than Antifa and BLM put together. What’s interesting is that the 4 people in this video are white:

While these protests weren’t nasty like other protests have been, it’s still intimidating to have thugs show up at your private home. This isn’t protected by the First Amendment because BLM was trespassing. Here’s hoping Sen. Limmer forwards this video to law enforcement and presses charges against these criminals. Once the people start trespassing, there shouldn’t be any mercy shown to the criminals.

It’s safe to say that Jacob Frey isn’t planning on being Tim Walz’s whipping boy when it comes to the George Floyd riots. The article written by Jennifer Bjorhus and Liz Navratil opens by saying “Jacob Frey has been cast as the mayor who lost control of his city, enduring criticism from the state’s governor that the Minneapolis response to rioting in May over the police killing of George Floyd was an ‘abject failure.’ Now Frey is speaking out, saying Gov. Tim Walz failed to take his requests for help seriously until it was too late.”

Monday, the gloves came off. “Frey said that Walz hesitated to send in the National Guard to quell the growing violence and then blamed him for allowing the city to burn.” Then Frey said “Through an extremely difficult situation, I told the truth. I relayed information as best I could to state partners. And we did what was demanded for the sake of our city.” The article then details what happened:

Texts and e-mails obtained from Minneapolis by the Star Tribune through public records requests show the city was trying to give Walz and the state Department of Public Safety what they said they needed to move forward. State officials, meanwhile, said the city did not provide the detailed information they needed to deploy the Guard until the next day. By then, dozens of buildings had been looted and torched.

An investigation is underway into who’s at fault for not responding quickly. Based on this reporting, it’s perhaps both men’s fault, with Frey not giving Walz enough details to respond but Walz hesitating in using force against BLM political allies. Further, the gloves come off in this video:

From Teddy Tschann: “The Governor is a 24-year member of the state’s National Guard and ‘knows how much planning goes into a successful mission.'” From Frey’s side: “The Governor’s office did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News for comment.”

With Major General Jon Jensen of the Minnesota National Guard next to him, Walz called the city’s response an “abject failure.” Walz had not warned him this public rebuke was coming, although they had a meeting shortly beforehand, he said.

“It was a sharp departure from every conversation we had had at that point,” Frey said. He described the governor’s assessment as “definitely a hit in the gut.” “Not just for me, but for so many in our city that were doing everything they could. … Everyone was pouring themselves into stemming the violence,” he said.

The article definitely paints a picture of Jacob Frey being easily intimidated and not terribly organized whereas Tim Walz is perfectly willing to throw anyone under the bus to protect his image. At this point, I wouldn’t blame voters if they said ‘a pox on both their houses.’

It’s apparent that Democrats are attempting to provide a contrast between their law enforcement ideas and the Republicans’ plans for restoring safety to America’s streets. The comparison couldn’t be more unmistakable. The choice facing the American people is between Democrats defending riots in Portland, Seattle and Minneapolis vs. the Trump administration’s sending in federal law enforcement officers to protect neighborhoods and federal buildings.

Andy Ngo is providing incredible images from Portland. Check this out:

This is the definition of disgusting behavior:

Portland media is pretty much leftist fringe. They’d get along great with AOC, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. But I digress.

Before the hearing, Chairman Nadler was in a car accident. That was just the start of Nadler’s terrible day. He should’ve seen it as an omen of things to come. Not surprisingly, Axios published a partial transcript of Nadler’s accusations:

  1. First, under your leadership, the Department has endangered Americans and violated their constitutional rights by flooding federal law enforcement into the streets of American cities, against the wishes of the state and local leaders of those cities, to forcefully and unconstitutionally suppress dissent.
  2. Second, at your direction, Department officials have downplayed the effects of systemic racism and abandoned the victims of police brutality; refused to hold abusive police departments accountable for their actions; and expressed open hostility to the Black Lives Matter movement.
  3. Third, in coordination with the White House, the Department has spread disinformation about voter fraud, failed to enforce voting rights laws, and attempted to change the census rules to flaunt the plain text of the Constitution—all in the apparent attempt to assist the President’s reelection.
  4. Fourth, at the President’s request, the Department has amplified the President’s conspiracy theories and shielded him from responsibility by blatantly misrepresenting the Mueller Report and failing to hold foreign actors accountable for their attacks on our elections—undermining both national security and the Department’s professional staff in the process.
  5. Fifth, again and again, you personally have interfered with ongoing criminal investigations to protect the President and his allies from the consequences of their actions.
  6. Finally, and perhaps most perniciously, the Department has placed the President’s political needs over the public health by challenging stay-at-home orders in the states hit hardest by the pandemic. The Department’s persistent efforts to gut the Affordable Care Act will make recovery that much harder.

Expressing open hostility towards the Black Lives Matter movement isn’t a disgrace. It’s sound judgment. Further, I’d argue that Democrats have turned a blind eye towards black-on-black crime. Republicans have expressed hostility towards the BLM movement because BLM’s founders are admitted “trained Marxists.” That isn’t racist. The rest of Nadler’s accusations plus a dollar are worth less than a dollar. The accusations are typical ‘throw everything at the wall and hope that something sticks’ Democrat special.

Michael Goodwin’s column feasts on what’s left of Nadler’s carcass:

He came, he saw, he ate their lunch. Bill Barr, denied a meal break, feasted instead on a gaggle of Democratic amateurs.

Another congressional hearing, another Dem disaster. They planned a public hanging of the attorney general and spent weeks constructing their scaffold. He is corrupt, a liar, a toady, they and their media handmaidens assured us, and the House Judiciary Committee will reveal all.

Two obstacles quickly became apparent. The first is that the Dems were led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, whose rabidness is exceeded only by his haplessness.

When it comes to train wrecks, nobody does it better than Nadler. What he’s missing in intellectual heft, he makes up for with oversized ego. It’s why Pelosi demoted him during the Democrats’ failed impeachment attempt. It isn’t a stretch to say that Nadler is the worst chairman in the history of the House Judiciary Committee.

Yesterday’s fiasco in the House Judiciary Committee was both frightening and embarrassing. Back when Republicans ran the House, committee hearings had plenty of grandstanding but they broke plenty of news, too. Tuesday’s hearing of the House Impeachment Rubberstamp Committee (that’s what it’s famous for these days) got off to a terrible start when Chairman Jerry Nadler got into a car accident on his way to the hearing. It isn’t a stretch to say that it went downhill after that. Perhaps, the accident should be viewed as an omen.

Two things became immediately clear the minute the hearing got started. First, Democrats weren’t going to let William Barr answer their questions. Next, these Democrats were going to pound home the theme that Portland’s riots were “mostly peaceful protests.” At one point, Barr interrupted the Democrats and said (I’m paraphrasing here) “This is a hearing. Shouldn’t I be heard?”

The ‘Wall of Moms’ aren’t female patriots. Reporting from Portland indicates that they’re human shields used to protect weapons-carrying Antifa/BLM rioters. That isn’t what patriots do.

The Democrats’ storyline was demolished during Steve Chabot’s questioning of AG Barr:

It was demolished when AG Barr asked the rhetorical question “The courts are under attack. Since when is it ok to try to burn down a federal court? If someone went down the street to the Prettyman Court, that beautiful courthouse we have right at the bottom of the hill, and started breaking windows and firing industrial grade fireworks to start a fire and threw in kerosene balloons and start fires in the court, is that ok? Is that ok now?”

When AG Barr tried answering the Democrats’ questions in ways that didn’t advance the Democrats’ storyline, they’d cut AG Barr off, saying that their time was limited and that they were reclaiming their time. I didn’t keep count of how often Democrats pulled that stunt but it was easily a dozen times. Barr would then politely stop his reply and let Democrats make asses of themselves:

Democrats looked like jerks and idiots throughout. When Democrats didn’t get the answer they wanted, the frequent reply was “I’m reclaiming my time.” Democrats had a storyline that they’d established and they weren’t deviating from it.

What’s disgusting is that Nadler, Lofgren and the other Democrat idiots didn’t do is propose a solution to the anarchists torching once-beautiful cities like Seattle, Portland and Chicago. Democrats spent the day insisting that federal law enforcement officers were the bad guys and that Antifa-BLM rioters were the good guys.

If you want to live with a Democrat majority that thinks that burning down “the system” is the right thing to do, just vote Democrat. If you’re a thoughtful person who cherishes peaceful streets where riots are stopped quickly, you must vote for Republicans. It’s that simple.
